On July 23rd, 2011, Janell would have turned 57. She was so young in so many ways - she knew how to have fun; she knew how to invent adventures; she knew how to talk with the very young in ways that amazed me; she knew how to love. She will remain forever young in my heart.
I celebrate the date of her birth and I mourn her loss and the inability of all of us to celebrate her life with her. She touched so many people. Those people continue to positively influence the lives of so many other.
I will honor her birthday, her legacy and her life.
