- Take the option the AIM Institute has offered me, to become a sub-contractor for evaluation services, giving up all benefits and working through Shain Evaluation & Consulting, LLC
- Sell everything - house, contents, car, etc. - buy a motor home and travel the country, living on social security, a small pension from Iowa and my investments
- Downsize to a smaller house/condo and look for employment outside of evaluation
- Sell everything, move to India and work as a consultant
- Attempt a "buy-out" from the AIM Institute (probably with a "no-compete" agreement) and work independently as an evaluator, strategic planner, facilitator and trainer
- Move to Paris or London and become a writer (I saw "Midnight in Paris" on Friday)
- Really downsize and work either as a greeter at Walmart or do substitute teaching
- Look into a possible position as a university or small college, doing instruction and consulting on the side
- Move to a small town, buy a small house and work for a school district as a counselor or dean of students
- Take a position as a school counselor at an American school in Europe (The University of Northern Iowa has a program to place educators in foreign schools)
- Completely retire, living on social security, my small pension and my investments, keeping the house as long as possible
- Partner with a friend in a career consulting business
- Work in a bookstore and downsize house and lifestyle
- Go back to school to try out a new career - nursing, truck driving, manicurist, masseuse, CSI, chef, etc.
- Fill in the blank:_________________________________________
